Graduation is in sight!

i will for sure graduate next year from college with a Bachelors degree in Psychology! I am so thrilled! I've been working my little ass off since fall 2002 for this. yay!!!!!!

I want to get my Master's degree. In the long run I want to provide children and teens (foster kids, teen prostitutes) a safe place to be. Help them get their lives on track and help them learn to deal with things in order to move forward.

I'm enjoying my classes now which is good. Now that I'm studying the material I value and not writing persuasive essays.... blah to english 111.

I didn't do anything fun with the family for Easter D: I went to work. we played Uno for a little while. but the excitement level remained below optimal.

who i will be

i'm in a constant state of inner reflection. recently i have been reflecting on what i want, who i want to be, and what I want to do. I get overwhelmed sometimes but keep in pursuit of my desires. these are some recent conclusions i have drawn from my mental festering:
-I want to write. I have so much going on in my head and i never seem to have time to get any of it out. this is the first step to becoming who i want to be :)
-I want to travel! i have always wanted to travel. i want to see how other people live and what their customs are. I want to try different foods, meet different people. I want to see as much of the world as possible
-I want to get my bachelors degree. which i am actively working toward and come hell or high water i will get it!
-I don't want to complain all the time. It has recently been called to my attention that I like to complain. I am recognizing when I want to make a negative comment and trying to focus my thoughts to positive things.
-I want to be more like astropixie, my sister. she is so full of energy and excitement and zest. I am so glad that I have such an awesome sister!
-I want to enjoy myself again. I think my job is killing me. i've worked in nursing homes for 5 years and i have defenately noticed an attitude change...
-I want to take more pictures
-I want to become the person I want to be.
